And if the husband does things in a Christ-like manner 100% of the time..... or even in the 90% range... I don't think any wife, of any religion, would have a problem with that yzf. Regardless of your religion or beliefs in that area... any decent human must AGREE with Jesus' teachings... Gandhi is another fine example. As far as respect... it's just as important for the husband to respect the wife as it is for the wife to respect the husband. Respect can't exist as a one-way street.

I know a girl who was looking for a life as a traditional house wife but couldn't find a man who could play the role as the authority in the household in a respectful way. She's not bad looking and VERY nice, has a really great personality, very intelligent, etc. So she settled on getting a chemical engineering degree instead of waiting for Mr. Right to come along.
