Way easier then doing wireframe 3D drawings in ACAD and then extrude/extract/blah blah blah. Way easier to just draw a shape, change your view and say "Extrude 60mm" ACAD is still my go to program for simple 2d mechanical drawings though. Animal 09-13-2006, 07:11 PM just use solidworks if you want 3d if you want *real* 3D, down to the thread pitch and texture on powder coatings, get Pro-Engineer. That software is amazing. |
