It started with random religious talk, evolution, sins etc. And most every time I would end up stumping her with a few simple questions. Last week she told me she was gonna stop going, saying she didn't like the fact that they tried to control her life, and that she was tired of hiding me because it was disrespectful. She's still a religious girl, but now she's getting out of that crazy ass cult :)

seriously though my MIL is a JW and i swear i could not live my life that way they do control everything, they told her last year she wasn't even allowed to be at her own house while we celebrated christmas there

I remember when I was 19, and there was this gorgeous girl, Jenna, I wanted to go out with. Absolutely beautiful. And she was a JW. I didn't know much about them, no one really did (this was 16 years ago...) so I asked my Mom. To this day, I remember my Mom's advice: "She's a Jehovah's Witness? Run."

A large percentage of my friends are JW. The know not to bring up religion around me otherwise they will be second guessing themselves. Very old fashoned life style that si not for me. BTW JW girls are hot, but they don't put out.

JW girls do give head. Ask my best friend who got kicked out.

JW's put out then get the guilts confess to the elders then get even more rules pushed onto them or get kicked out

Yeah but they're incredibly tough to persuade. ~Sovereign God Disclaimer~ In my last JW session at my house I had 2 of them there for 3 hours. I beat the crap out of them over their historical problem of having doctrine that's 'not historical'. Then they countered with a 45 minute attack on the diety of Christ. Sheesh it was horrendous. The she-witness was cackling at me.

I've read a couple books covering the topic and it's still tough.

I think the hardest part of it, when I argue with JWs, is they refuse to consider the Hebrew or the Greek, or anyone elses translation of them, they only look to their own version.

The entire Gospel of John speeks to his diety, even in their horribly mangled version (such as the time he said "Before Abraham, I AM" and the Jews went to stone him, why would they stone him for just saying "I am?" because it was a claim to diety!)

Honestly, I'd rather say something than have to work to type it.

Anyways, it was a tough 3 hours. Being a retired engineer, the he-witness seemed genuinely concerned that his "religion" could not demonstrate a historical trail on the doctrine of the elect through the centuries. I think it was frustration on this point that instigated his attack on the trinity.

The she-witness did not care if her religion was historic or not. This pathetic attitude is most common among the human speices.

I'll admit that my strategy is not quite orthodox in that I do not focus on the diety of Christ. I figured that I'd get more critical thought from my opponent by jabbing at his weaker position then with a full blown assault on something he's well prepared to defend.

In the end, they asked to come back with an elder.

The problem here is that those Jews were not indwelled by the Lord. I am. Also, I am not using my election as an excuse for bravado. I'm using the doctrine of election to show a weakness in their founder's interpretation. I think you live in fear of JWs. Fear not my friend, their mind tricks will have no effect on you. If need be, I could join in on a conference call if you ever wish to evangelize JW dupes who come by your place.
