Thats the height of arogance. bimmergirl 02-23-2002, 06:03 PM Definitely a dumb idea to fire a coach right before an event like that...I had lots of practice firing coaches when I used to skate, and I can't think of a single logical reason to do it at that moment...so, she can definitely blame herself for that little bronze medal. Also at the last olympics, she wouldn't participate w/ any of the other athletes in the opening ceremonies because she felt it would distract her or some other crap...so basically she was too good to be w/ the others.
