This fucking sucks. First, my nephew got half the family sick over the 4th of July holiday, so I spent the last half of my vacation sick. Then, after fighting that damn cold for nearly two weeks, I woke up last Monday with pinkeye in my left eye.

The last week I've also been having some pain in my throat and neck, but attributed it to the eye drops draining down my sinuses and causing irritation. Today (or last night) I woke up a few times thanks to my neck killing me, and I have swelling just below my right jaw, and it hurts like a mother fucker to swallow - I couldn't even finish lunch.

It hurts my neck and throat to turn my head, and it even extends up to my ear, my jaw and even my tongue.

I'm getting promoted this Sunday, and it's going to be announced on our District conference call today, but now I'm going to be sitting in the doctor's office :mad:

I'm not one to get bummed out, or to run to the doctor, but this fucking sucks.

Well, I'm not going to die (fuck you, Supper!). My right tonsel (sp?) is swollen... no shit, I could have told you that. The doc took a culture to test for strep, but doesn't think it is.

I'm now on an antibiotic that's about the size of a freakin' Buick. I hope it's magic, cuz my fucking throat is killing me :(
