it would be funny if we shut down all our american textiles / manufacturing locations and then China, Japan, Korea, Mexico, etc decide to raise their prices... and raise production costs by setting a minimum wage comparable to ours (doubt that will happen)...

Japan raised their prices long ago. China's labour costs are going up, which is why some of their production is being moved to India, Khazakstan, etc.
