91lx 08-12-2003, 02:58 PM what are good autocross tires? are drag radials legal? Katana200sx 08-13-2003, 01:24 PM drag radials are legal. it depends on what class u run iirc. alot of people on nissanforums.com use the falken azenis (sp?). hoosier makes a r compound radial for autocross too Chipster 08-13-2003, 02:09 PM kumho victoracers. most of the cstock miata drivers use these. only problem, you shouldnt drive to the event on these tires as they wear very fast. Hightach Tibby 08-13-2003, 02:10 PM azenis are GREAT tires for autocross...they're legal in all scca classes because they are a street tire. except stock classes, unless they make one in your stock size. I doubt drag radials are legal..but i could be wrong. also, the kumho victoracer is a good tire, but it's not street legal for very long. as is the hoosier autocross compound. Chipster 08-13-2003, 02:12 PM Theyre street legal, but wear out so damn fast that youd be better off not driving it on the street 91lx 08-14-2003, 12:48 AM only stock size tire i can find is the pirelli corsa 205/50/17 91lx 08-14-2003, 12:51 AM does anyone have this so I can get a copy: Solo I & II/ProSolo Rules + CD-ROM "REPLIMOD" #17 08-15-2003, 03:29 PM I'm running Falken Azenis. They are great, but they need to come out with a few more sizing options can't get no traction out back b/c 245's are as big as they come. :D Hightach Tibby 08-17-2003, 07:28 PM umm...read what i said chip....not street legal FOR VERY LONG. |
