I was looking at a 1999 Honda CBR600 F4. It has 16k miles on it, all current tuneups etc, new tires and chain, never dropped... $3300.

are you sure they are a good quality chain? good sprockets? Good tires that aren't going to be ate up your first WOT run?

The last time I sold a dirt bike I decked it out with "new" hardware, but it was the cheapest chain and sprocket set I could find and a set of "bargain bin" tires. I bet that chain stretched a foot the first time that kid wacked the throttle on that XR500.

and before you start preaching to me about Karma, I learned that trick about cheap shit on a bike you are going to sell the hard way... in other words, I bought that XR500 in the exact same way I sold it.

edited for spelling, my fingers are in overdrive tonight for some reason...

Don't get a bike! I don't want to have to go to another funeral! It doesn't matter how good of a rider you are.......other people just don't look out for you.

I bought a kawi off my friend's brother. On the drive over he hit a curb and bent the front forks, then tried to say it was my problem :(
