ok, we got a camera a few days ago so i got some pics of the cars. here's some of the frame rail on the 808 now that the engine's out

holy moly

who would've thought something so clean was under all that gunk! it was so dirty i thought the dirt might've been photoshopped.

yeah, i thought it looked kinda wierd when my friend sent them to me. i had asked him to get some shots of it so i could post a before and after of it. it sat up under some oak trees for quite some time.

once you take that stuff off you can usually wax it to put the oils back in the paint and it looks fgreat

the pics make it look better than it really is. whoever did the repaint did a sorry job. some places it's like they didn't even sand before spraying, u can scrape it off with ur fingernail. i'm just glad to get my engine in something and back on the road.

how u figure? it's the one out of my 808. sure, if i had built a turbo engine i'd put that in it.

I think he means pistons vs. rotors.

oh ok. didn't think of that one. i guess if i wanted a car with a piston engine in it i would've bought one.
