So I was driving on the highway in the Grand Prix, going about 85. The "Check Tire Pressure" warning came on, so I hit the button to shut it up. It usually goes on to let you know tire pressure is low.

So, I keep driving between 70 and 90 m.p.h. I feel like the car is blowing around on the road a bit, so I look at the trees to see if there is any wind. Nope.

Then, the satellite radio loses feed for a couple seconds and I hear "thwap, thwap, thwap, thwap".

I pull over into the slow lane, and a semi comes barrelling up beside me, and I see the guy waving his arm frantically toward me. I think, "Yep, flat tire. Fuck."

Pull off the highway and into a parking lot. Once I'm going slow, it's obviously flat as shit.

I figure I drove about 40 miles on it flat. At 70 - 90. With no accident, no nothing. Man, talk about lucky or blessed or something.

Here's the tire in my trunk after changing to the donut.
