well my new 3in exhaust got me pulled over tonight by a state trooper.. he was cool about it though.. he said i shoudl have it fixed... but i dotn wanna get rid of the muffler... mmm shoudl i keep it and put a silencer on it ?

I was with Mike (10th anniv. RX7 guy) when he heard your car at the mall.  Nothing has changed since then has it?  That and rotaries are loud naturally anyways.  I would say go with some sort of silencer...NO GLASSPACKS.

Rotarys get louder after opening up the exhaust ports, if ur really concerned about the noise, it would be worth getting Racing Beats presilencers. I've used their muffler and love the sound the rotary has with it. When I get my engine done, I'll probably end up using the presilencers myself.

if you got pulled....how come ken never got pulled over w/ a damn straight pipe on a rotary?!? &nbsp;That's just crazy...go tell that cop to f### himself and use a decimeter, or whatever that thing is called, and see how loud it is.

Gee I wouldnt know what to do if I got pulled over. &nbsp;I used to run open headers and H-pipe all the time never got pulled and it was loud as hell.

i sold jamie my old exaust, since im 7 less now... &nbsp;sorry to hear that man, i passed and was passed by several cops, and i never had a problem with it. &nbsp;id try and build some sort of silencer...

you never heard ken's straight pipe....we heard it from several miles away. &nbsp;And i'm being TOTALLY serious. &nbsp;he took this girl home...and we heard him the whole way!!!
