Yes, the TII is back!

But, on the way home it decided to A) Break the alternator belt and B) Leak antifreeze from SOMEWHERE(I don't know where....yet)

This car needs some work....lots of work. But, it should be running properly again soon.

going to try another mass air meter tomorrow hopefully thats whats wrong. my fouled plug and broken plug wire werent causing the problem i was looking for. its hit or miss with hesitation crap like my car is doing.

did you check your distributor coil? sometimes its the distributor assembly that can cause that.

yeah ive checked the wires, plugs, cap, rotor, and coil. still have to check the maf, fuel pump and fuel filter. no idea.

and someone said o2 sensors. they wouldnt cause as much of a problem as im having.

i thought a bad O2 sensor would give you a CEL. :dunno:

i thought a bad maf would also but its good i guess i unplug it and get a cel then hook it back up... no cel. the computer might just be tired of thinking i unplugged it to let it rest til tomorrow. also checked my ground its fine. i might try another set of plug wires tomorrow just to be sure. think its in the ignition somewhere after the coil because there is no cel. someone suggested the tfi also but usually the car wont start at all or when hot when the tfi goes bad. :hide:

If it's the TFI, the car will start, but when the module gets hot is when it starts acting up. BTW Cody, I found that mass air meter. I will bring it buy your house on my way to work tomorrow.

what all is it doing? What RPM is the hesitation?

I've got two flap door MAF and a number of other parts that I removed when I went haltech. if you need anything, let me know.

i narrowed it down to cylinder 4. pulled the valve cover and #4 intake rocker was broken in half laying there in the bottom of the head. might get some rollers or just replace it not sure yet. it was making awesome power before it broke. i think the converter flashing so fast had something to do with it. :)
