Tofuball 03-18-2009, 10:20 AM Yeah, I just wanna complain.
Overslept, no time for food, ran out and tried to get to work, car drove about 500 feet and died. Took me forever to get it started again and climb the slight hill home - I had a thought and checked under the car - glowing red cat - feh. I'll fix that later.
Got on motorcycle, it's wet out, I accelerated too much on a turn and went down on my wrist. Hurts and wont bend back now. Have to type one handed. Bike's fine.
Got to work, four angry emails from administration about me being late - I'm in a lot of trouble at work now.
Bleh :P
Alex-7 03-18-2009, 10:25 AM That's a pretty shitty morning fo shiz.
Alex-7 03-18-2009, 10:36 AM You're late to work every day?
+1 on the wrist tofu....
Alex-7 03-18-2009, 11:07 AM That's perfect. You just put your eight hours or so in then leave?
oakback 03-18-2009, 12:10 PM That royally sucks! I hope your wrist isn't too badly messed up (see a dr.!). Hopefully "I wrecked my motorcycle and still made it here" will maybe earn you a bit of leeway? Or maybe they'll say you need to learn to ride a bike (in which case you have permission to sucker punch).
Alex-7 03-18-2009, 12:21 PM Bike's fine.
...
$100T2 03-18-2009, 12:34 PM You're late to work every day?
Well, I generally come in at least 15 minutes late... I use the side door that way Lumbergh can't see me.

dg123 03-18-2009, 12:38 PM man that sucks, hope your wrist is ok
+2 or 3 or whatever the count is now. I wouldn't have even gone into work if I landed on my wrist, but that's just me.
Tofuball 03-18-2009, 01:12 PM What else would I do? :P
They need me here.
dg123 03-18-2009, 01:26 PM Go to the hospital to have your wrist looked over?
Don't know about you, but I like to know if things are broken or torn if things aren't working like they're suppose to. If it happens to take all day, then so be it. Just a thought. :bigthumb:
Tofuball 03-18-2009, 01:47 PM Maybe if I had a working car . . . Don't want to try fixing the car with my wrist like this.
I doubt it is broken, I've heard that broken bones hurt something fierce - to the point of nausea. If it is just a fracture it'll have to heal on it's own I figure.
dg123 03-18-2009, 02:12 PM Would be a good idea to get that splinted though if it is indeed a fracture. Most medical supply stores should be able to sell you a splint of some kind without a doctor's note. At least that was the case when I sprained my wrist when I was out hiking.

You just have to be careful with the claws though, they can be quite painful. :blah:

Does Czar write your jokes?
dg123 03-18-2009, 03:20 PM Nope, I write his ;)
Tofuball 03-19-2009, 10:10 AM One wrist is 8 inches around
The other, 10. :P
Tofuball 03-19-2009, 09:03 PM Ok, I have a fracture of the right triquetrum, and I am now totally useless.
