Mint 4 x 8-inch speakers Guitar Research cabinet - 4 ohms - perfect for Valve Junior amp as extension cab - why settle for a dinky little speaker when you can have four in a nifty red slant cab? Almost new - shows no wear - used at home only. Handles & casters all fine. Loud with tone. $80 obo. Looks like a red Marshall slant cab - only much smaller. This cab is actually NICE looking - and doesn't look like a piece of industrial welding equipment in your living room. Pics available via e-mail. Thanks.

Anybody know anything about this little Cab?? Turbo II?? paging Mr Turbo II

What do you want to know about it? It's like an Amp with 4 speakers. I like how they put "Looks like a tiny Marshall Cab" though...that shit ain't a Marshall. 80 bucks though for a practice cab isn't too bad.

It's not something to bring on stage at a stadium, but swap out the speakers and you'll have a decent amp to play around with

Was a Sam Ash house brand, head and cab new were $219. For 80 bucks why not, as long as your head will run at 4 ohms. Should be fun, 4 8" speakers might surprise you.

^^That is what I was thinking.

I have that B-52 AT-112. I was thinking about using this as an extension.

What is the deal with the Ohms and over heating the amp etc?? These are 4-4ohm speakers. The amp has an Impedance select switch on the back. The choices are 16, 8, and 4.

The one 12" that is in the B-52 is an 8 ohm. Would I unhook that speaker and play through the extension cab and switch the selector to 4 ohm?

And remember guys, there is no amp with it. They are just selling the Cab with 4 speakers.

Maybe I can get the guy to Drop to $60...

Yep.
There is no way to play both Speakers at the same time is there?

For instance, using the B-52 as a monitor and pointing the 4x8 outwards...

Nope, if your internal speaker is 8 ohms and the extension is 4 ohms you run the risk of burning up your output transformer. You end up with 3.2 ohms or something like that.

So, for what I am looking for, or looking to do, I need to find a Cab that is 8 ohm or find a single 12" speaker that is 4 ohm??

------------or-------------

buy another Head al together to power this Cab?

You could rewire it to 16 ohms.

The amp? or all the speakers?? Understand I am in no way ambitious enough to rewire this new amp I bought for my kid.

I'm just buying him cheap local stuff for him to play with.

the cab, rewire it to 16 ohms. you can then use the internal and the extension.

How do you rewire the Cab to 16 ohms?

easy to explain or detailed? I'd rewire the cab as I would not really care about it. The B-52 is brand new and it costs ~$500 or so.

Disregard the 2nd jack if you don't have it.
