some of you knew I was having an issue with the af gauge flashing to lean during transition to the secondaries. I finally got some responses on my problem and figured I'd post one I think is interesting. This guy is one of the most respected haltech tuners in the world:
Unless you have the secondary injectors mounted at the same distance from the port as the primaries then you will always get a very tiny lean spot. In most cases it does not have any detrimental effects as you usually pass through it quickly, and before the engine gets up on enough load to cause any lean damage. Even if you have them at the same distance there is still a small amount of time needed to "wet" the intake before the fuel will travel through to the combustion chamber in the correct amounts. The lower the air speed (lower the rpm) then the worse this lean spot appears.

Makes perfect since to me. The farther away the injector is from the port, the sooner it needs to fire to make combustion at the right time.

Ive got it running right now. Havent floored it yet but its pretty quick. I turned up the bar after the staging line. Im going to try some different stuff tonight.
thats like nitrous if it has a bottle pressure of 1050psi and your running a carb at 5-9psi there will always be a temporary lean condition for a very short time. its not as bad with EFI because you usually have 40-90psi depending on your injectors.
