Light painting, of course.

So, after taking the picture of my "blowed up" piston head from my old shifter kart, I decided to experiment a little and have some fun.

The following pictures were taken at ISO 200 with a shutter speed of 30 seconds. It cured my boredom, and made me laugh a couple of times.

If this is totally irrelevent to all of y'all, I don't care. Heh.

Well, I was using my Canon 1D. Set the controls to "Manual," naturally.

Adjust shutter speed to "30"", ISO to "200", and set the aperature to somewhere between f/7.1-12.

I didn't feel like waking up my father to get the tripod out of his closet; so, I set the camera up on top of my TV. I manually focused the camera; as to stop the autofocus from bugging out and stopping me from taking a picture. I turned off all of the lights in my room, and hit the shutter.

With the first picture, I had a small LED flashlight. I shined the light at the camera; which proved difficult, seeing as I suck at writing backwards.

For the other pictures, I just hit the shutter, sat on my bed, and "wrote" on the walls with a laser pointer. With a 30 second shutter, you have plenty of time to get comfy on the bed and take your time "writing."

I tried to think of different things to write, but, as you can see, my mind was quite blank. I was just about to start attacking forum members via laser-pointer-o-intimidation, but the battery on my 1D died. I didn't really feel like going to get another one; so, I just uploaded what I had and put the camera away.

Any requests for later "light painting" sessions are welcome. Just keep in mind that I suck at drawing, and my handwriting really isn't the best, either. Heh.

You should save them all and rotate 'em. :D Or, I think you can reduce the size of the print.

Fuck, I knew that "suprise" didn't look right. However comma the fact that "buttsecks" is spelled the way it is, any other misspellings can be excused in an attempt at teh funnay.
