rtryb2200 07-02-2007, 01:03 AM I am going to be renting one in about 2 weeks for the weekend. Pretty pumped, I love speed, but there is something about just cruising and taking in the scenery. Just thought I would share...it's really boring at work right now Say No To Pistons 07-02-2007, 09:37 AM Just don't bump into biker gangs :) . rxtasy 07-02-2007, 09:41 AM why a harley tho? there's other cruiser style bikes out there. or is it that u just like all the noise. Supper 07-02-2007, 05:45 PM Stop noise polution... run over a Harley rtryb2200 07-02-2007, 06:38 PM No where else around here rents motorcycles....I really do not like the noise but want to get the feel for a large cruiser rxtasy 07-02-2007, 11:32 PM u do know u can test ride a bike like u can test drive a car. unless ur really set on keeping the thing a few days. rtryb2200 07-20-2007, 01:28 AM Here is the RK that I rented alongside my sweeet suzuki!!! Tofuball 07-20-2007, 07:03 AM Nice Suzuki :D 2ndGen.Rocket 07-20-2007, 08:40 AM Here is the RK that I rented alongside my sweeet suzuki!!! did you rent it through Eagle Rider? rxtasy 07-20-2007, 10:37 AM didn't know u already had a bike. what can u do with the harley u can't do with the suzuki? outside of being heard a mile away and a tingling in ur ass from the vibration when u get off of it. cool_as_crap 07-20-2007, 11:14 AM Wow, I didn't know you could rent bikes like that... Wonder if they have something like that in CA. 2ndGen.Rocket 07-20-2007, 01:09 PM www.eaglerider.com rtryb2200 07-20-2007, 06:19 PM Nope rented through a HD dealership. The bike only had slip-ons so it was not that loud, but much better then a stock sounding v-twin. And I would never attempt to take the Suzuki on any long distance ride, and plus the wife will not ride on it. I wanted her to experience something comfortable, since she is not real interested in riding. wotnartd 07-23-2007, 06:19 AM It's not like Harley's are loud from the shop. County Sheriff's department got a HD bike. Quiet as a kitten. Plus, if you live in Wisconsin, Harley's pretty much how you roll... unless you want a rocket... A guy near me is selling a CBR 600 RR, it's red, I can ge tyou his number, maybe your wife would like that more. rtryb2200 07-23-2007, 09:15 PM I used to have a rocket and it's fun to go fast but I can only afford one or the other and right now a cruiser is the way to go rtryb2200 07-24-2007, 07:48 AM I won't deny it I love the speed, but I want something the wife can enjoy also. One day I will go back to a rocket Turbo II Rotor 08-07-2007, 07:45 PM Should have gotten a goldwing. Its fast and handles and its a cruiser. You win twice brother. + its a 1.8L flat 6. |
