I am going to be renting one in about 2 weeks for the weekend. Pretty pumped, I love speed, but there is something about just cruising and taking in the scenery.

Just thought I would share...it's really boring at work right now

Wow, I didn't know you could rent bikes like that...
Wonder if they have something like that in CA.

Nope rented through a HD dealership.

The bike only had slip-ons so it was not that loud, but much better then a stock sounding v-twin. And I would never attempt to take the Suzuki on any long distance ride, and plus the wife will not ride on it.

I wanted her to experience something comfortable, since she is not real interested in riding.

It's not like Harley's are loud from the shop. County Sheriff's department got a HD bike. Quiet as a kitten.

Plus, if you live in Wisconsin, Harley's pretty much how you roll... unless you want a rocket...

A guy near me is selling a CBR 600 RR, it's red, I can ge tyou his number, maybe your wife would like that more.

I used to have a rocket and it's fun to go fast but I can only afford one or the other and right now a cruiser is the way to go

I won't deny it I love the speed, but I want something the wife can enjoy also. One day I will go back to a rocket

Should have gotten a goldwing. Its fast and handles and its a cruiser. You win twice brother. + its a 1.8L flat 6.
