I'll be getting it professionally redone when I get back. I figure I'll drop 5-8k on a full job (median blasting, filling/pulling any little dents, new front, LOTS of layers of paint, etc...). I should have about 30k sitting in the bank after Iraq, so I'm not terribly worried about it.

I'm getting between 10 and 15 mpg (Highway) depending on how much I get on boost... The oil is fine (might consume one quart every oil change or two), though I do pre-mix so I guess you could add that in on the bill..

All in all I spend about 50-70 (up to well over $100 if I go out and play) a week on gas =(

Need to replace the fuel pump on my other car and start using that more.. will reduce gas costs to something like 20-30 dollars a week.

And I only put on a couple hundred since I've owned it. Only one oil change.

New daily driver. Transmission and turbo needed to be replaced on the duramax, was going to be ~ $9,000 in repairs (on top of $2k earlier this year) and they offered me 12.5k in trade so I pickup up the cummins.

Not really at all. It's just heavy and a pig with huge, heavy wheels on it. The thing takes forever to get up to speed, but I remember going on a fireworks run to PA a few years ago on I-80 and me and a 300M were having a bit of fun with some high speed roll races.

Got Stasis exhaust, Alcon Rotors and Calipers in the works. I'm trying to keep it civil cause it's still going to be a DD.

The folding mirrors are hard to get in the US. It took me almost 3 months to actually get mine and I didn't have a choice of color. The car is black now but is going to be painted Shade green from the Infini IV so I'm not too concerned about it. Good luck with your sale.

If you're only making 400 on e85 at 30lbs you need a bigger turbo. I'm considering E-85 but I would have to go to NY to fill up a couple 55 gal drums because we don't have it in NJ yet. I could make somewhere close to 550hp at 22lbs.

Sn95... I want boost, but don't want to dump $3,000 into a car whose value isn't much more than that on paper. Not a fan of the bottle, and don't want to stay n/a due to gearing issues.

I'm still undecided. 300rwhp n/a is easily obtainable, fairly cheap, but you need 4.10's to have any fun with that. Been there, done that, yawned. I plan to run 3.55's or 3.73s just for decent fuel mileage... doubt I'll be doing any racing, more of just a toyish dd.

OIC. How about staying NA with 373's and gangstering it out with AFR heads hotish cam and another trickflow intake. Some long tube headers and other odds and ends and you'd have a good daily driver that puts way more than 300 to the ground. Throw a cheap used paxton on there later if you get bored....

I know where there's a set of GT40P's right now for $225, 89k miles, the top dollar is usually $400... I thought they had aluminum heads in those kits, but it looks like iron to me. The intake is going to be $200-$300, $200 for the cam new. An e-cam for $100 is available in the same spot as the heads.

My friend was telling me about a kit with aluminum gt40's, and long tubes for sn95 from the same site for $1800... I didn't really look though. I'm just undecided which route I want to go with.

I've always heard the F cam is the biggest you can run with gt40s/stock bottom end... I had one in my other sn95 I had. You HAVE to get a tune with a cam that big or it's going to stall constantly. I've seen people swear on the TFS cams too... depends on who you talk to what's the best. I had an F cam before, really liked the lope, and supposedly e & f's are great cams for boost, although that motor was n/a.

My biggest concern is ultra reliability... if the power isn't there all the time, it's no good.

Sure, they handle well when set up right, and there is no doubt that you have done a lot of work on it, but i dont know if that makes it the nicest car on here. the 2000 looks clean but it isnt what that car should be--they should have put more under the hood. honda's engines have come so far, and then they slap that 4-banger in there. Imagine what they could have done with that car if they gave it some real balls? Quick now, yeah, but only because its so light. they should have done that car right.

I still dont care what you say about it, that SC T-bird I have is one sweet car. With the new suspension it even handles a ton better than you would think a car this big would. and the fact that it makes all that power from a V6 is something too...like it, dont like it, you still have to admit that it is one clean car, especially considering that its a 1995 with original paint. The outside looks brand new, its that clean. The next project coming up this year is going to put it over 400 hp at the wheels, and its finally getting the bigger brakes too.

over 300hp at the wheels, clean as a brand new car inside and out, handles really well, still gets 26 to the gallon on the highway, plus its got a huge trunk and I can still put my girls in the back seat and take them somewhere in it. Its got plenty of power, handles great, and its still a USEABLE car too. the only thing abotu it is that it weighs like 3500 pounds....
