Rumor has it that Hayes Rotary has finally been shut down after years of fucking people over, both local (I was one of them) and out of state.
I figured it was coming when the Oak Harbor Freight driver delivering my milling machine commented on my FD and asked if I ever took it to Hayes. After the obvious answer of "fuck no", he mentioned that they weren't taking shipments from Hayes except on a cash basis and he'd heard they had several law suits pending.
Maybe now the fucking idiots who are easily parted from their money will quit sending it to Don Hayes despite all the shit reviews and horror stories that have been published over the years. Some people you just can't reach... :D
So why not go beat his ass?
I don't see how you can sit around and rip people off constantly, local and internet, and not catch a deserved ass beatin.

'Bout time.
I personally know of only one good hayes build. Kind of a coincidence that it blew last weekend.

Motor lasted about 20k. Not too bad imo for a motor making decent power. Its funny, the car was a no trailing experiment that blew the day we hooked up trailing again.
I'm not hooking up the trailing plugs when I get this damn Megasquirt-n-spark finally working. The guy who developed the spark circuit for MS1 for the FC cas based ignition noted no real difference in power after finally getting trailing split code written and operational. he said the map actually needed more fuel in idle to run smoothly when trailing was working!

Theres a big power difference. Even at 20 degrees split or somthing, you'll be making mroe power. I could write a freaking book about no trailing.

yep, there is a big difference between trailing and no trailing and if you say otherwise there isn't much you can say because you're wrong. The End.
Ok I'll hook it up and check it out. The NA guys with megasquirts didn't notice power but of course, they're NA, hahahahaha.
