I roll a '91 Talon TSi as a daily driver. It doesn't look "good", but it doesn't have any dents or missing pieces. I tell people it's my beater. So I'm rolling N. up WA 503 and stop for the light in Battleground. I'm in the RH lane and see in the LH lane a girl checking her appearance in the vanity mirror of an early '90s Escort. Not an Escort GT, but a plain vanilla 13" tired Escort stock as a rock Escort. High School girl sees me pull up and quickly folds up the visor and sits back. Boyfriend rolls toward the red light like he's ready to go. Sure, why not I think. Light goes green and he jumps out. He gets about a car length on me before the boost comes up. Top of 2nd gear I have 4 car lengths on him. Was this guy thinking he'd impress his Sophmore GF by loosing a street race? :dunno:
