I wanna ask for some advice from you guys. My child is in skateboarding and what advice can you give me about that? Will I tolerate him?

I skateboard regularly and have been for about eight years now, I ride a lot of skateparks now but I used to be really into throwing myself down anywhere from ten to seventeen stairs on a daily basis. I got hurt quite a bit but it was never anything permanent, plus, it was awesome excercise. Don't be surprised if he comes home with a ticket every once in a while though (assuming he's into it enough to ride around the city you live in), I know I've been handed quite a few of them.

Ditch the skateboard and get him a bull rope or bareback riggin.

heh.

I have a few observations on the skatebording thing...

so long as your kid doesn't become a skater punk, no worries. Its a kick ass way to work on your ballance and I kinda wish I woulda tried it in my younger years.

Teach the child "the right path" and see if they follow it; all you can do is show them the road, its their decision whether to follow it or make their own.
