Pretty much. That way, when someone posts something insightful, intelligent, and maybe even respectful, they can get good points... And, when they call someone demonic, moronic, satanic, or pretty much any other "ic", they get bad points... And, I'm thinking that if someone gets, say, -1000, they can be rewarded with a ban from the forum for a day or two. :)
