Trying to figure out the networking stuff is a PITA, otherwise it's good.

So Tofu, what was your intention of this thread?...I sense bait. Are you trying to belittle us Vistaians?

No, I was using the computer normally and then someone said something about Vista, and the thought hit me that people actually use Vista. So I wanted to know if that was a common thing amongst us or not.

Oh, ok. I know a lot of the 1337 look down on people that use Vista.

Tofuball

I don't consider myself 1337, and I don't look down on anyone.

Now, a show of hands for people who PAID for Vista?

I'm pretty sure they're not losing any money...once XP is no longer supported people will have to make the change, they make they're money one way or another

Yeah, I have to unplug it and plug it back in every so often because a message comes up "This USB hardware is incompatible with the Windows Vista Operating. If the problem persists, please contact Microsoft Technical Support."

I think the mouse may just be a POS. I use my wireless from my laptop no problem.

I use it. It's, honoustly, not that bad once you spend some time removing all the crap and making it less glitzy and whorey. In an ideal setup, I'd run it in virtualbox in kubuntu, but stupid linux is giving me hardware grief, so, for now, I'm stuck with it.

I have vista, and personally I wish I could go back to XP. Well I can, but I don't want to spend the money for it. I really believe XP is better for gaming... which is what I mainly do.
