My Wife-to-be bitches about me being on forums also :D However, she loves gaming and doesn't mind me spending money on electronics. I don't put much money into my cars anymore. That was an expensive hobby that I just haven't had much interest in lately. I'm getting married next Summer, i'll be 24 then. We've been together 5 years in June and I wouldn't trade it for anything. FDTHREES 04-29-2007, 12:15 PM my wife has all my passwords.. check all emails in/out/deleted check my history check cookies has a tyraid about me being online, in some chat rooms and etc.. i can't be the only one going though this nonsense. Can't see myself being or living with anyone else. If I wasn;t with my current wife, I'd probably only have friends with benefits, if that. I'm 26 BTW. SpartanTS 04-29-2007, 12:25 PM I've been married for 4 years I think. It seems like a lot less, but I guess that's right. LOL R281 04-29-2007, 12:45 PM LOL I'm a guy. I don't keep track of those things :D Katana200sx 04-29-2007, 01:22 PM my wife goes through my phone every now and then and cannot stand the fact that i wont give her my passwords. i dont care to know her's so she doesn't get mine. Queen 04-29-2007, 01:31 PM suckers R281 04-29-2007, 01:49 PM suckers How so?? :D rxtasy 04-29-2007, 02:21 PM married? yes, 24 yrs as of 4/24. getting married wasn't really planned, just what we decided was best after she got pregnant. been thru the bitching about the comp, she never will understand the spending money on cars thing. been a real roller coaster ride. waaaaayy too much to bother posting here tho. long story short given the current situation, will be somewhat living single. Steel 04-29-2007, 03:57 PM Wow. You must be oooold. haha, single and HAPPY! Zero 04-29-2007, 05:34 PM I don't think it's worth the tax break. rtryb2200 04-29-2007, 05:58 PM tax break?? that's funny only good tax break in WI is having kids! I've been married 6 months now, been with her for 7+ years though. I spend most of my internet time at work, so when I get home it is the furthest thing from my mind. She on the other hand is online quite a bit when I am around. czarofzar 04-29-2007, 09:28 PM any of your wives catch a hissy fit about being on the computer? I do recall some instances of my wife urging me to get off the computer. But those were times when we had projects looming to start. Zero 04-29-2007, 09:34 PM My theory: The internet isn't required for cooking and cleaning. czarofzar 04-29-2007, 09:34 PM At what age did all of you start wanting to get married, and what age did you marry? I wanted to get married as soon as I was able to achieve bonage. However, I started late in my career as a husband for I was busy enjoying over a decade boning your mothers. I might have made you, Zero. You have my attitude. rxtasy 04-29-2007, 09:43 PM Wow. You must be oooold. that's funny, i don't feel old. i don't even act my age. Steel 04-29-2007, 09:55 PM oh, so you're one of those cool old dudes. Queen 04-29-2007, 11:44 PM How so?? :D because you got suckered into being her certified bitch-on-a-leash for the rest of her life :p Tofuball 04-30-2007, 06:34 AM any of your wives catch a hissy fit about being on the computer? Queen 04-30-2007, 08:41 AM so queen, I take it you never plan to get married? :) can't say I've ever had the general desire Tofuball 04-30-2007, 09:57 AM can't say I've ever had the general desire I can't say I did either :P R281 04-30-2007, 10:50 AM because you got suckered into being her certified bitch-on-a-leash for the rest of her life :p Listen up kids. This is how women think. Say no to marriage. :D Zero 04-30-2007, 11:25 PM Find 'em French 'em Finger 'em Fuck 'em Forget 'em ??? wotnartd 05-01-2007, 12:51 AM I'm not married, but I may as well be. My girl and I have been together for a year today, but before that on and off for another 18 months, I think.... On and off from September 2004 to May 1st, 2006, then we became full time. When I'm not with her, I'm on the phone with her. I tend to forget that she's still in HS and that I'm only 20 (I actually had to think bout that for a second (I thought I was 22 first)), when I get that thought that says I should buy an expensive ring and ask her a really big question. Soulmates, we are.... ...It's our anniversary, I have to get into that romantic mood. Queen 05-01-2007, 12:54 AM For me it's more about "can I wake up next to you every day for the rest of my life" than anything to do with love wotnartd 05-01-2007, 01:15 AM Oh, I totally would. Morning wood is of much larger concern to me. Tofuball 05-01-2007, 05:46 AM For me it's more about "can I wake up next to you every day for the rest of my life" than anything to do with love Why not? Without love, I think it's more like "Can I _stand_ to wake up next to you every day for the rest of my life?" bx7 05-01-2007, 11:31 AM I got married at 28 years of age way back in Ninteen Hundred and Ninety Nine. Marriage is a good thing. It's work for sure. I have some advice for you spring chickens. Hold out as long as you can but not too long. You don't want be the old loser dude or dudette in the corner of the bar. Pickens will get kind'a slim, and you'll probably be stuck with some used up ho' with chittlens. You don't want that. If you shoot your load too soon, like getting married before your late twenties, you'll miss out on a lot livin' and lovin'. Think twice. Let's say your courtin' one with a mind on marryin', have a good look at her pappy and mammy, she gonna end up lookin' like one of them for sure. If they both fat slobs, well, that's what you gonna get too. If she can touch her thumb to her pinky around her wrist, she'll stay pretty skinny no matter what. 2QUICK4JOO 05-01-2007, 11:31 AM suckers :stupid: wotnartd 05-01-2007, 11:32 AM Why not? Without love, I think it's more like "Can I _stand_ to wake up next to you every day for the rest of my life?" YES! I was thinking this same thing and was about to say that. czarofzar 05-01-2007, 12:55 PM For me it's more about "can I wake up next to you every day for the rest of my life" than anything to do with love For some people, marriage doesn't seem compatible with themselves. And perhaps you sense that. It's probably best if you don't get married. And there is nothing wrong with that. I know a girl who has her doctorate and would rather date than marry. Now she is doing what she wants with no family ties. She does tell me that it gets lonely but somehow she is able to push that aside. I always wanted kids and is the reason I wanted to marry. toosmuth 05-01-2007, 01:36 PM My limited life experiences have taught me that divorce = bad and divorce with kids = very bad. I try to act accordingly....ts wotnartd 05-01-2007, 02:41 PM as an independent person, I can certainly see this point of view, I could never be reduced to the "let's share everything" naive high school romance mentality I think the best marriages are based on people who have active lives outside of the marriage, too much time with any person gets old In a perfect marriage, I think you should have about 35% common interests, but should be able to put up with the other person's interests, at least 85% of the time. In the household, if something is meant to be private, it should be kept that way, so long as some sort of act to make it privacy is made, such as a sealed envelope, taped box, computer password... if it is made in such a way that it is open to all public (ie: an open internet forum) then respect is always nice, but if you put something in the open, expect it to be read, but if someone crosses that weird little boundary, don't get too pissed. Share a bed, share a home, share meals, live seperate lives 70% of the time. I think that's a good equation. Zero 05-01-2007, 04:51 PM I think the best marriages are based on people who have active lives outside of the marriage, too much time with any person gets old I agree 100%. Everyone needs their own space. Too much time together = people going at others throats... That can creep up on you though if you truly do love the person and desire to spend 99% of your time with them... but the easiest position to play is Monday morning quarterback. :) Queen 05-01-2007, 09:26 PM For some people, marriage doesn't seem compatible with themselves. That about sums it up Shadow7 05-03-2007, 06:39 PM Married at 25 now going on our 2nd year of marriage and my wife is a bigger internet nerd then me so she doesn't bother me about being on line. I fell in love with her the moment I saw her or would that be lust at first not sure (she was on a pole wearing a little red riding outfit,) but I love her and feel lucky to have met her. In two years we've fought only twice and that was because I told her mom something completely embarrasing that she use to do when she was in high school and when I accidently told her sister she was a stripper during college when we were drunk for new years. Other then that our marriage is great and I love waking up next to her every day. but I do agree some people are just not marriage people which I guess sums up all the divorces in southern californina. Steel 05-03-2007, 07:59 PM ... at first not sure (she was on a pole wearing a little red riding outfit,) but I love her and feel lucky... pics or it didn't happen. Zero 05-03-2007, 10:16 PM ^nice avatar. Shadow7 05-04-2007, 09:39 AM she has a picture somewhere on here. I'll post one if I can find one of her on costume in costume. Shadow7 05-04-2007, 09:49 AM checked my photobucket and couldn't find any of her in her outfit, but did find the two I posted here. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v489/Alexjt8/Kristina004.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v489/Alexjt8/Kristinaatball2.jpg meddle 05-06-2007, 09:12 PM sorry for you guys.
