I was heading out reidville road toward 26. I enter the onramp to 26 behind a '95 or so prelude. It was a weird light blue color. It had dual chrome fart pipe mufflers from what had to be autozone. It had altezzas. It was gay.
The guy gets almost to the interstate on the ramp and downshifts into 2nd (?) and floors it. He shifts to 3rd (I think) at 2nd gear redline. I was in 4th at about 3000 rpm and gave it 3/4 throttle. I kept up. Damn that car was wicked slow.

you was in the gmc? :D kiddin....id bet the gmc would keep up with the lude...its awful...id run about a 16.0 in the 1/4..:)

I havent really had any races. Everyone is scared of rx7s. These guys in a focus gave it a shot but they just wanted to see what it could do.

rxtasy 06-15-2003, 03:16 PM Yeah the ludes r slower than I thought they were. I have a friend that got one, a '94 I think, for his daughter and it's a 5spd. I rode with him to the parts store and my daughter's '90 accord is quicker and it's an auto.
i still think his 96 cobra with the blower was faster. cant beat a factory warranty though.

ive seen a bone stock looking new SC'ed cobra...stock rims and tires on it also..
it ran a 7.47!! i was like holy ****!!! so unexpected...
