What are you going to find a repu chassis for? $500-$1000 maybe? It's going to have all of the wonderful shittyness of the 70s or whenever those turds were made.

Motor? s5 turbo motor? K, $2500 or so... unreliable as shit.... and you'll be watching your temperature gauge more than your speedometer.

So... what do you have now... A 1970s turd pick up truck with 200 hp that is completely unreliable with over $3500 in it and absolutely no modern conveniences.

OR... you can take that and buy a 90s ranger/nissan. You could get decent higher mileage suv for that also with all of the good shit... a/c... power steering... power windows... etc...

Or I could put a fresh 13bt motor onto it. Can get that done for lets say 2500$ plus streetport, griffin rad, large front mount IC, T2 trans, cut to fit drive shaft and a 8.8 or 9in ford rear. All into a decent body. Not everyone needs conveniences.
