It's only a matter of time before he hits his 600th. Then they'll start getting suspicious.

I heard about that. They'll be speculation to every player that starts to hit these insane amount of HR's over the next decade.

Yeah, he will be the next to break the record after Bonds. I am still out on my opinion of the whole thing really. I'm sad to see Hank's record go.

Yeah...maybe someone will fill a syringe with like acetone and shoot it into bonds before he breaks the record.

My personal pet peeve about baseball today is there is no allegiance whatsoever. Back when I was a big fan, you knew Don Mattingly played for the Yankees. You knew that Nolan Ryan played for the Rangers. You knew that Ryne Sandberg played for the Cubs. There was no worrying that these guys were going to jump ship every 2 years and go to a different team, especially not a team that is the sworn bitter enemy of the team they used to play for. It makes the game less fun IMO, because players now are pretty much free floating prostitutes for hire. (like Queen) It is difficult to get behind a team or have a favorite player simply because you don't know if they are going to be playing for that team in the future.

A-Rod should resign with the Yankees, even if they have to give him a Tank and an Island in French Polynesia every season.
