Someone posted in the 1st gen section about whether the door keys and ignition keys are the same. RX-7 Doctor, with his usual need to answer questions with off topic "look how much I know" crap, posted a paragraph on how to start the car without keys. I pointed out that we've been avoiding posting that for at least 6 years for obvious reasons, and he should edit the post, but he just started arguing "Thieves would have to break into your car first anyhow, so this doesn't help them at all" yadda yadda yadda.

This is the same mod who bumps 1st gen threads he doesn't think worthy of "his" section over to the lounge, who has deleted posts by people who've disagreed with him on tech issues, and so forth. I could get into details but that would make this one looong post.

There's been a behind-the-scenes shitstorm going on about this for the past 2 months or so, and his posting info that compromises the security of our cars was the last straw for me. He's a fucking meathead and I refuse to continue membership in a forum with him fucking up people's threads.

I should clarify - Vipernicus and Directfreak are awesone 1st gen section mods. It's only Doc, the most recent appointee, who's been pissing in the pool as far as I'm concerned. And he's been told several times why his actions are causing torches to be lit and pitchforks to be sharpened.

RX-7Club sucks too... but there's a lot of knowledge there. Especially in the AI/single turbo forums.

yeah, there's a thing where firefox interprets the ' as "find in page" request. I've tried the recommended fixes but it comes back when firefox downloads updates.

And for me, having a mod posting info to a public forum that can obviously help thieves steal our cars, then get all high and mighty when his error is pointed out to him, was the main issue. Doc has been acting like a fucking smacktard for the past few months.

It's a regular cycle of complete fallout every couple of months I've noticed. Hammons was the last one I believe, with all of those BS accusations of being racist. Some of the mods just can't get over the fact that they too are wrong on occasion, hiding their failures in complete denial.

Most of the mods over there are a bunch of homos. I said it before, I like Killjoy, Belvi, and dDub, but that's about it. You leaving is a pretty big black mark on that forum, for as long as you've been there and been known as one of the more relaxed and cool people on the site.

A friend of mine (ShinobiX) and myself got tired of that shit, too. After wasting entire workdays trying to show some of the more "obstinate" folk that there is valid evidence to suggest a different story to the 9/11 attack and thus a proper investigation, I realized that I was only wasting my time....

Difference of Opinion there doesn't mean much outside of color/party affiliation, since that's just about the only thing that regularly gets discussed amongst all the uncalled for flaming. It's like Smacktalk for the politically/socially ignorant...

The 1st gen section sounds sucky, but I tend to like the 2nd gen section's mods. Icemark is a cool guy but I think he hates me because I proved him wrong on something. Ever since then he doesn't reply in my threads, 2 of which involved the logicon and idiot cluster which he rebuilds.

The person that banned you was an admin, an admin that I haven't seen post in the moderator forum in months, let alone anywhere else on the forum. He is a player on rx8club mainly but is still an admin on rx7club. I don't even think he reads the moderator forum to be honest. My guess is that rx7doctor PM'd him with a link to your thread calling him out and asked for the ban, otherwise I don't know how he would have even know about your situation.

There seem to be more people on your side than not, Manntis, which is why I'm trying to get some things done and understand this better. If the only one against you rx7doctor then that would seem a little odd, considering the other 1st gen mods seem to love you.

Even if you aren't going to come back, I'll still keep looking into this. Because I agree if what you're saying is true then we have a problem.
