...it's over.
The Religion Section should be bidding us a fond farewell. Unless you guys give us (and I really mean me, because I'm a dick) some very persuasive reasons to keep it around, I think it's time to pull the plug. Marky Marky Marky Mark is happily waging war on the worthy boards, so there's really no reason to keep it.
Can anyone here not live without it?
I'm currently taking a religion course as an elective. I was hoping to start a thread about possible influences of the Hebrew and Christian Bible. I'd like to share/get different perspectives on some of the things that I've learned.
Also, it's not as though keeping a religion section costs anyone anything and if you were to "plull the plug" on it you might as well do the same to the politics section, the gaming section, the programing section and the health section. Frankly I don't see the reason for singling this one section out. Who knows, it might pick up a bit with new traffic.
This section was mark's playground, where skydiver was sure to find opportunities to drag up past encounters and flame wars would regularly ignite. Now that the agitator has left, the forum has no meaning. There are other forums for religious discussion. Theforumlounge.com is for smack talk.
Like I said, who does it hurt having this section here? I don't even know why this thread was started unless $100 just feels like flexing his mod muscles...?
