I didn't feel like sending a PM.

How much for all that RB exhaust you've got? Any other FB parts you don't need? Like a motor? or carb? Or a 13bt?

Is it the whole exhaust from front to back? What sort of condition is it in?

The stock shit is shot and I want to replace it on a budget.

Lemme know please.

Hey Dave,

Don't post stupid fucking threads that are personal business inquiries for another member. Nobody fucking cares you self-centered piece of dog shit. I hope this exhaust leaks into your car you son of a bitch.

Lemme know when you die please.

240 parts who needs 240 parts, sr20 parts. I got someone who has a parts car and a couple others that are ditching their sr20s.

Oh and I didn't get the RB pics or anything else....I slept all day. I'll have time tomorrow if the wife didn't take the camera

Dude, I swear to god, I thought that you said passenger side fender. Talk about brain fart. Reading comprehension ftw.

Yeah, I've got a red driver's side fender on the FC, and yeah, it's getting parted out.

To of the tabs that hold it on are cut off because it wouldn't come off the car at the salvage yard.

Talk to Racing Beat. I just ordered a boat load of stuff from them and Mike gave me a really good deal on all those expensive ass gaskets (engine to mani., mani. to turbo, turbo to downpipe). If you do go with them try to deal with Mike because he's a really nice guy (tell him Eric from Germany sent you!!!) and willing to work with you so you get what you need. He even got me some stuff (assorited gaskets) that they don't stock, directly from Mazda and he gave them to me for just a hair over cost instead of 300% mark up like the dealer does. Their shipping is also made from 100% solid gold win....super fast even when they had to wait for some stuff from Mazda. Racing Beat FTMFW!

***Edit*** If you miscellaneous little stuff PM me because I have most of an '88 TII (red with grey interior) that I'm parting out minus the motor and tranny.

Herschel

If your talking to me then it's bone stock and most likely the original struts and such......not worth anything. Most of the car is in real good shape though. Interior switches and stuff are in good shape, most of the interior is good. Rear end needs a new oil seal, but is in good shape. However, since I live overseas, I would rather not ship the big/ heavy stuff. I am mostly looking to get rid of the small/ light stuff and I will get rid of the other stuff locally. If you need anything just PM me and I'll see if A.) I still have it and B.) it's something I feel comfortable shipping.

My big winter task will be to find some nice wheels, I think. Were the FB Enkeis for the 110 mm? If they were, I'm going hunting. Those would look so nice along with my cherry red paint.

I already have two sets of wheels, and the ones on the car are pristine. What's another?

So... How much do they usually cost? I might need more shit if i do end up getting the TII. It's got red with grey interior also.

Engine to manifold: http://mazdatrix.com/getprice.asp?partnum=13-4610-N386

Manifold to turbo: http://mazdatrix.com/getprice.asp?partnum=13-7110-N3Y4

Turbo to downpipe: http://mazdatrix.com/getprice.asp?partnum=13-491B-N318

Plus you'll need these....

Oil pipe gasket at the bottom of the turbo: http://mazdatrix.com/getprice.asp?partnum=14-2930-N385

Oil inlet gasket: http://mazdatrix.com/getprice.asp?partnum=14-2760-N386

I listed these off of the Mazdatrix site because RB doesn't list them on their website (most are in the catalog), but I guarantee RB can get them cheaper or at least for a comparable price. I just like RB better because they aren't assholes and they are willing to work with you.

I also highly suggest going with a Racing Beat Turbo Rev II full exhaust system if you can afford it ( http://racingbeat.com/FRmazda2.htm ). Some people say they don't flow as well as other systems, but unless you just like a loud ass exhaust (think Db tickets...ask Zero) or you are seriously tracking or drag racing the car then they are very nice exhausts. They sound friggin' awsome IMHO. If you do go this route you will also need an FCD (RB has those also) so you don't blow your motor from fuel cut.

Now as far as the little stuff like interior parts or misc. small body parts I can get you most of the things you might need. I would be willing to bet money your stereo surround will be cracked, but I have already sold that so you might want to start looking for it because they seem to be some what hard to find. If you need a stock top mount intercooler or air boxes...please let me know because I have several that I need to get rid of and I will do so cheap. Basicly, I have more shit than I can think of or list here to get rid of so chances are good that I have what you need, just let me know.

Yeah yeah yeah.... I'm just curious about how much i have to spend.

Little projects become big projects quickly.

Title and registration. $100

New wheels. $222

First, the carb "needed an adjustment," then it was torn apart and was so bad, gunk had to be drilled out. New floats and a rebuild kit, plus labor - $150

Discovering - on the road - that your coolant is bad and taking it to a Pennzoil place to get it changed. $50

Then you find out your gas tank is rusted on the inside, and you've now got 10 gallons of bad gas, not to mention how many fuel filters you've thrown at it, just buying you time. $42.00

You find a kit online to seal your tank. $73

Your exhaust is bad, very bad. $ However much rtryb2200 decides ( I WANT)

These are all things to take into account, man. Just so you know.

Yeah, i don't plan on insuring it till i graduate next spring. It's going to sit in the driveway so i can work on it little by little so i can turn it into a nice road worthy car by the time i graduate. Public transportation is the win.

OK so I lied I was looking at the exhaust today, and going to take some more pictures but the wife took the camera with her this weekend. The exhuast is made by CSC and is made in Italy.

the guy I bought the truck from said it was racing beat, but I guess he didn't know. Any how, let me know if you still want it

I'm still interested, but only so much. I'd like all the parts, but as a whole they look a little... big for the car, so I'll have to do some work to make them work, I think.

But I take it there's a header and everything? And I could make it all work, I'm sure. More pictures of it all, please. :D

Oh, by the way, did you get rained out at all? I know your area got a little bit of rain during the past week, and was curious if you faired well.

It rained every freakin' day last week, and while I was off of work so it sucked...but nothing like the rain they got in the southern part of the state. She will be back tomorrow with the cam so i can get some pics then

I will actually being rolling through your side of the state at the end of next week when we head up north, but the exhaust won't fit in her car. possible the weekend after I could deliver or meet you half way.

Oh yeah how was mrr

08-26-2007, 01:56 AM
Yeah, I don't remember how south you are, more Eau Claire, less La Cross, right?

As far as pick up, my work schedule is kinda weird, so it gives me lots of time to pick it up. I could go all the way and see your truck . :D :D :D

MRR was good. The FB got 20 minutes into the trip before rusty tank took her outta commission. Limped it home and took my dad's Camry. All that work detailing it, pretty much out the window. I met some pretty cool people, though, and there were some sick cars there. I won a Mazda hat, too, so that was cool. Not many pics, though. Last year I took more.

http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=676898

The story on getting the FB running is crazy as hell. I didn't get the carb back until Friday ngiht, and it had a bad float, but worked. So we got the carb on, just in time to see that the choke linkage was flipped back so I had to take some stuff apart to make it right, and then it went back on. And you know how big a bitch that carb is. Finally, around 10:30PM the Friday night before MRR, we got rolling. And then it ran out of gas... that was no good. Managed to get to the gas station and fill it right up.

Next morning, we get moving, 20 minutes in, I try to hit the highway, and the car just dies. Noticed it was a little hotter than it should be, and then I took it to Pennzoil, hoping maybe it was just a little hot, had the coolant changed. That didn't help. So we limped home, that 20 minute trip to New London, where the car died, became a 45 minute trek at 40 mph. It was awful

As it turned out, the fuel filter was clogged. So I replaced it. It clogged again. Oh shit. Long story short, I made 14 gallons of rusty gas. Did a little homework, found POR-15 makes a kit for gas tanks and bought it. I got all of the rust out of the tank, etched the inside, and I've got POR-15 sealing it right now. Monday I'm going to refinish and rust-proof the entire tank.

right in the middle of EC.

My work schedule is 5 on 4 off 4 on 5 off so I am usually around, plus I work nights and do not sleep much during the day. I will be back home after labor day, just let me know. I think you're about 2 hours away.
