Well my motor blew in case you didn't know.  Pistons were starved for Fuel and the block was trashed.

So right now its either get another stock motor.  OR.....build a hybrid motor built for Boost, which is what I wanna do.  I'm gonna try to use an old Legacy 2.2 turbo block (same as the 22B) and then use the head off my 2.5.  I'd rather use an STi, but thats $$$$ and I've got a free one already.  Then I'm gonna put my old turbo kit on that motor, and I'll have a beast.  My stock tranny will hold enough for me to run lower boost, then I'll just sell it and get a strengthened gearset from MRT.

Dale Teague already has the block in his shop, brand new.  I'm gonna try to grab that off him for like $800.  Then go from there.  Luckily the tranny and block all line up fine, so thats cool.  Hopefully I'll have the car back by the summer.  I can't do much till I get the Tech II engine management system.  So who knows till its running like a beast again.

The new WRX motors won't line up with my cars engine bay, way to much money to actually have that done.  I looked into getting an STi, and thats well over a $10K swap.  Be cool to have though.  Maybe for my next car.  If I decide not to get the T/A or the Supra I've wanted for a while.
