Texas89LX 06-09-2002, 02:07 PM not one but several were way out of line, if you were one of the ones who werent i apoligize <img src="http://www.spartanburgracing.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> MR2 Driver 06-09-2002, 03:54 PM </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote (Texas89LX @ June 09 2002,03:22)</td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">btw for chris's sake and for the sake of this m.b. which i like feel free to talk all the s### you fell like you need to over there, keep it nice over here ok? bitch</td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'> lol are u a moron.. look at what u just said " keep it nice over here " and u say all this other s###... *"suck dick" "bitch" lol e-mail him or something don't be a hypocritical fag... Texas89LX 06-09-2002, 05:41 PM yeah i realise that, editing now. *being drunk and mad doesnt allow for clear thoughts. thanks. and your comments are a bit on the hypocritical side as well but i wont hold it against you. StockForNow 06-09-2002, 07:11 PM Hi ken. LinsKE10 06-10-2002, 10:42 AM geez what an ass..... oh and you call yourself a car guy? you spelled tiburon wrong, genius. even i knew that <img src="http://www.spartanburgracing.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'> Corban 06-10-2002, 12:11 PM My car got wrecked one time. Texas89LX 06-10-2002, 01:48 PM i am an ass for getting upset by poeple very rudely attacking me personally? get out more <img src="http://www.spartanburgracing.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> Hightach Tibby 06-10-2002, 09:59 PM WTF?!? What the hell are you f###ing addressing this s### to me? i have my own damn opinions...and f### you for trying to pin this s### on me! like i'm the only person who said some s###. I'm guessing that was your mustang in that video....HA! serves you right! can't spell tiburon right, let your friend take a MUSTANG to a drift day, and then he wrecks it. HA! mustang drifting? that's a good one! Mustangs belong in one place...the drag strip. Leave the drifting to the cars like the 240's, silvia's, skylines, etc. Oh, and don't try to seem smart when you have so much going against your intellict right now. hurleyboi514 06-10-2002, 10:13 PM yeah, u were just a bit offensive dude... you started off attackin the entire club, and i didnt even konw what the heck had happened. i read the thread after it had closed. u should post an aplogy on High Tach, not here, the guys you offended wouldnt know it b/c you posted it here. just an idea... Texas89LX 06-10-2002, 11:17 PM look i wasnt trying to single you out, i saw your name and recognized it first. but if you want to be all nasty about it then throw down. i didnt mean for it to be personal but if you want it to be then fine. it was not a drift day, that was to be held the following day. and as for mustangs drifting i was managing quite well. you just cant be a jackass and drive the car all ham-fisted (like matt did). it requires more finesse and skill but its doable. fell free to ask tony or anyone that was at that autocross. other than the long really long sweeper (which no one but tony himself could do) i was drifitng as well as the 240, the 2 miatas, the club's RX-7 and the trans am that was there. besides drifitng isnt the fastest way around a corner. you want minimal drift/slide coming out. drift kills your exit speeds which is one of the most important things to turning a fast lap time (the second is cornering speed, which drifitng often hurts). you are right in saying that the mustang stock is best suited for the dragstrip but what you will learn is that it can very easily and relativley cheaply can become as good a corner carver as pretty much anything mass produced. $3500 gets you a kit to turn 1.1g's and a 69.5 mph 100ft slalomn on street tires.. check out www.maximummotorsports.com , thier road and track kit. note that the ferrari 355 only posts a 1.01g skidpad and a if im not mistaken a 67mph 100ft slalomn. id rather work on suspention and have all the power i need instead of having a chassis that will always be underpowered. but to each thier own. honestly id like to have a DSM to play with as well, put coilovers and a bigger turbo, front mount intercooler, etc. on. ive been very impressed with my friends DSM that just ran a 12.9 @ 105 and handles every bit as well as my car (with more and/or better tires hed beat me in the mtns, but for now i have the edge on him when it gets twisty) anyways waiting on hightach admins to activate my acct. like thats going to happen. maybe one of you guys can forward this for me to them and the board in general: guess i made a noticable entrance huh? id just like to say that i didnt mean alot of what i said. i was really upset, drunk, and had just had my good mood (a first of the weekend) smashed by getting linked to that from chris. it hit alot of my pet peeves but i shouldnt have let it get to me. if i offended anyone im sorry, and if you want to talk further about it IM me @ th3ykilledkenny. again i aplogize for my out-of-line comments. thanks Ken btw I AM NOT A TROLL <img src="http://www.spartanburgracing.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> Texas89LX 06-10-2002, 11:20 PM and as for misspelling tibouron who cares? *<img src="http://www.spartanburgracing.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> how many people can spell it right that dont own one? besides its hard to read as it dissapears in my rearview mirror (ok im done, just teasing <img src="http://www.spartanburgracing.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> ) 06-10-2002, 11:43 PM </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">Oh, and don't try to seem smart when you have so much going against your intellict right now. </td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'> Gotta have it to spell it? Everyone has typos. Now stop bickering. An apology has been posted. VeilSideTwinT 06-11-2002, 12:35 AM lol that is too funny james rxtasy 06-11-2002, 12:45 PM Doesn't really matter what car u drive, it can be drifted, it just takes old fashion know how. I saw that video and I feel bad for the owner of that car. Hopefully it wont hurt their friendship too much. Stegall 06-11-2002, 09:05 PM I saw the whole thing on HTM, and i have to say that im on Texas' side on this one. I dont even know the guy, but if that had happened to me, and then people attacked me like that, and in the fashion that they did, i probably would ahve reacted alot more violently. And everyone, please try to watch the language on here. Im not one not to cuss once in a while, but lets keep the language down. Stegall 06-11-2002, 09:08 PM Also, befor any one else jumps down some oe else's throat, this thread is locked. Texas, Sorry what happened, happened. it happens... Every one else, put yourself in his shoes. How would you have reacted ? |
