Saab sells on average about 35,000 cars a year through out the world, and I haven't heard much about them. Are they really a good car maker even though they are owned by GM? Just wondering, I may buy one once I hit my post graduation crisis and I want a nice car in my parking spot at the work place, lol :)

I thought about cars like an IS300 or a BMW 3 Series, but I see them all the time. That's no fun. I own a 3rd Gen Prelude, so i'm already a loner, so I think i'll stay in the loner car world (Volvo, Saab, Land Rover, etc.)

One reason i don't like the IS300, I really don't have much pride with a Toyota Camry V6 engine under my hood...BUT once the IS330 comes along, then that may be a contender.

One reason i don't like the BMW 3 Series, I'll see one just like it on the way going and comin from work. And i'd want an M3, which i know i won't be able to afford str8 outta college.

Now that new Volvo S60R, is a monster! Oh yea, and be careful before u walk up to a CTS. If it's a CTS-V, be ready for an outright ass whoopin with it's 5.7 V8 and 400 Ponies to the rear wheelz.

lol...nothin like a Corvette Engine in a Cadillac. Something u don't see everyday.

Just out of the blue, do factory turbo setups (Saab, Volvo, etc.) do they go psssssssssssssh?

no...they use a bypass valve...the only way to get that sound is to get a blow off valve..pretty much the same thing except the BOV is vented to the atmosphere instead of the intake. that's the noise you hear

the viggens are pretty cool if you can tolerate wicked torque steer.....

honestly if i was stuck on a swedish car id go volvo...

why not be a sheep and go BMW/MB/Lexus/etc?
