not yet. after the 60-1 install the motor blew wile we were tuning it. It turns out that the guy that ported my motor is a complete idot, which i knew but now i have proof, and he made all the intake ports different sizes, there for giving me an uncontrollable air/fuel ratio between the front and rear rotors. The car should be back up and running pretty soon if I can get those 6port plates from COsborne :)

talk to steve and see about clearancing my rotors and the sooner I come up there to have the work done the sooner you get your plates :)

i dont have any good pictures of the inverted hood scoop. My entire V mount is designed to vent though the inverted hood scoop. Here are some illustrations

At that angle, ur not getting enough air flow thru the intercooler to cool the intake air properly.

Cosby

the angle isnt so much a concern as a firm seal on the rear... The object is to force air through the oil cooler, intercooler and radiator through the front air dam... Its a pretty efficient setup.

id like to see a real intake instead of the filter stuck on the end of the turbo

otherwise very nicely done :)

There is a belly pan that goes under the intercooler, not only to protect but to make sure there is a vaccum behind the intercooler on the bottom. I plain to create baffels to channel the air to only where i want it. So far with no baffels, for the short amount of time it ran, I was running intake temps of around 86f and coolent temps around 180f. I expect the engine temps to go down once we can finaly tune the engine and i get everything blocked off.

Stegall: its front engine, rear wheel drive. some people consider it mid engine though, because the motor sits behind the front axel location. Also preytel what picture did you see the tranmission in?

I was joking man.. lol jsut by looking at a rotary engine it resembles a transmission case... im famaliar with the rotary, and how it works and the setup and placement of the engine.

Classic ziptie mounting method

Toxico

the ziptie allows for movement in the intercooler under driving conditions.. that sounds good right?

some guys came to fix our garage door today. First guy says "ay ralph, you know what that is" *points to 13b in 10,000 pieces* his partner replies "naw, what is it" and he proudly proclaims that it is a transmission and looks at me for my approval. Then says "....right??" it was funny :)
