Im stuck here I have $500 to blow on my car this week I can't decide what to do.  I can get a set of chrome 17" rims to replace my 16" rims or pick up about 30-hp worth of performance parts.   What would you do?

I wouldn't worry so much about girls that want to get with you just because of your car. If it is short term (ie no longer than 5 hours) and she wants you for the car it's not so bad, but if some chick attempts to or gets into a long term relationship with you simply because your car is your wang you are probably not going to enjoy the relationship and for fairly obvious reasons. Gold diggers bite. Pick up girls with skills, not looks.

I would always do motor...but in this case you wont find those wheels at that price again prolly. Its a non loose situation...

Just for the record i could give a s*** bout looks. Although i like show cars its not for me. Damn my car looks like s*** but it is very well respected.

so what parts are you consdering? &nbsp; Also what have you done to your car to get 250hp and 350ftlbs?? &nbsp;Those figures dont &quot;jive&quot; .....so you've added about 25hp and about 60 or so ft. lbs.....I mean my car came with 325ft lbs and 265 hp....It's a 5.7...and i know that those 4.6's aren't exactly known for their tourqiness... plus a lot of bolt on mods add more hp. than tq, so it would be kinda hard to get those figures. &nbsp;you need to get your car dynoed....guesses don't count

ok... i've had 2 5.0's &nbsp;both came with 225HP and 300ft lbs...And 5.0's definitely have more torque than the 4.6's. &nbsp;So you're not going to get 350ft. lbs without major modifiations...and with major modification you would have a lot more than 250hp....hmmm does anyone else smell that?

My car will dyno more torque than yours any day. &nbsp;A factory 1st gen 4.6 stick is rated 290ft. lbs. and dynos about 263hp. &nbsp;A factory 98 ss auto is rated at 335ft. lbs and dynos about 278 ft. lbs. (All specs taken from Hyper-tech stock dyno runs). &nbsp;You car is rated at 10 ft. lbs. less than the LS1 SS so that puts you at around 268. &nbsp;Looking at your mods realistically they maybe add 20ft. lbs RWTQ all together because you lose a lot to your slush box so Id say 288-290 RWTQ at the most. &nbsp;I have a lot more mods than you (a lot more) so I'd say It would be pretty easily for a 4.6 to dyno more torque than your 5.7. &nbsp;If you had a manual transmission, I'd wouldnt even argue this point with you, but you dont and you're the one that brought up the dyno testing.

i mean i wish i had the problem of not knowing how to spend $500, and had to ask a lot of highschoolers for advice, but instead i just don't have the money, and my parents don't go out and buy me whatever i want....not saying that yours do......anyways, why don't you just say what you mods are instead of talkin sh*t. &nbsp;unless you have the 99-01 Gt heads, or some other serious modifications you should stop running your mouth, cause i've completely walked several lightly modded 4.6 GT's....so you better have more than a K&amp;N and a Tornado
