czarofzar 05-28-2008, 07:40 AM The rest of the story can be found on CNN website. The story of Mormonism has a new neighbor. If you don’t understand what I just meant there, and/or if you rather not risk exposure to my mental dominance, you need not reply. czarofzar 06-08-2008, 07:20 AM most xtains reject the book of mormon...... czarofzar 06-08-2008, 01:28 PM most jews reject xtains stuff. Most xtains reject mormon stuff. Shit rolls down hill it seems Tofuball 06-08-2008, 02:14 PM The Jews in general reject Yeshua due to lack of understanding or hatred of what he stands for. Everyone rejects Mormon stuff because is pure insanity. Seriously, that guy was a nut case. czarofzar 06-08-2008, 02:23 PM Not everyone rejects Mormonism (see Mormons in my State) You can no longer use the word confused since the same old argument has been around for thousand of years now and the same old Jews that study parchments after parchments still come up empty handed and continues to declare Jesus was a nut case as well, no? czarofzar 06-13-2008, 09:19 PM Charred NTs proves there is no holy magic protection. It was by chance the dead sea scrolls were in a somewhat readable shape. http://www.baltimoresun.com/media/photo/2002-10/5044074.jpg Tofuball 06-13-2008, 09:35 PM Not everyone rejects Mormonism (see Mormons in my State) You can no longer use the word confused since the same old argument has been around for thousand of years now and the same old Jews that study parchments after parchments still come up empty handed and continues to declare Jesus was a nut case as well, no? Err, nope. I myself was a doubting Jew who said "What garbage is this that the Christians have added to the holy text of our God?" When I read the NT, I realized Jesus IS the Christ that the OT told us would come. The NT and the OT are part of the same book. But with Jews, it is usually not for a lack of knowledge that they refuse Yeshua as the Messiah, for the OT has MANY references to tell us that Yeshua is the Messiah, and a great portion of the NT is just quotes from the OT! The entire Gospel of Matthew is just one quote after another of OT showing that Yeshua is in fact the Messiah prophesied about by Moses and the Prophets. No, many refused Him because they hate Him, though they do not know Him. czarofzar 06-13-2008, 09:38 PM Err, nope. Didn't know God would refuse his children (Jews) into heaven. All the time. nothin new, it's all there in the OT and the NT Anyway, heres a youtube about Mormon vs Bible so you can see that the book of Mormon isn't like the NT in that it's "added on." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1mFdO1wB08 czarofzar 06-17-2008, 08:49 PM I suppose there are bad Jews and good Jews, therefore it isn't about your religion. It's who you want to worship. If Jesus is god, then just worshiping god, other than the name Jesus, will do fine. And if you are worshiping god, then there was no reason to change over to Christan. Ark2 06-17-2008, 08:50 PM Get back to work! Tofuball 06-17-2008, 08:56 PM Thaaaaaat makes no sense. Read the bible, it shall explain that kind of thing away. The NT is the fulfillment of the OT, not the replacement or an addition. czarofzar 06-17-2008, 09:04 PM Anyway, heres a youtube about Mormon vs Bible so you can see that the book of Mormon isn't like the NT The problem isn't so much the similarities in history, only the concept which you are modifying your life iaw the authors thoughts. Authors (MORM, BIBLE, etc) write confusion upon their subjects, in that fear is used to force their subjects to apply their faith into believing the authors' writings. In the arena of spiritual drama battles, it's your own mind that commands fear. In my world, I'm indifferent to the black text to where I give it no life; for it has none. czarofzar 06-17-2008, 09:04 PM Get back to work! Yes sir :) Tofuball 06-17-2008, 09:26 PM In my world, I'm indifferent to the black text to where I give it no life; for it has none. I assure you, they call it "The Living Word" for a reason. Don't assign it a value, but read it with an open mind and perhaps you'll see why it is called that. If you were Jewish, I'd tell you to read Isaiah or Jeremiah, but if you're not one for "hard reading" give Luke a try. czarofzar 06-18-2008, 05:38 AM Yes, reading good books make you think you are there so as it would seem they are living words. Tofuball 06-18-2008, 07:00 AM Err, they do that with imagery, establishing locations and moods. That's really something the bible doesn't have much of. czarofzar 06-18-2008, 07:28 PM Then explain your interpretation of the living word. |
