I've been thinking about picking up an early 80's ish Porsche 911 SC.

Anyone out of the five of you ever own one?

The budget is around 10K. plus or minus about 2k depending on what I find. something in the 100-150k mile range is what I'm looking for.

I used to work at a strictly porsche BMW Mercedess shop and have a little experiance working with these things. they seem very streight forward to maintain and fix when things go wrong.


Opinions? input? what do you think?

Do it! all it takes is some cash. I'm gonna be saving/ looking for the next couple of months along with liquidating some of the shit I've bought over the years.

I consider this an opertunity to get consolodate many of my assets (Guns and guitars mostly) in to something I'll get more use and enjoyment out of.
