What would you guys like to see here in the nissan sections?

I would like to see some FAQs on the popular nissan engines, 240SX's, hell maybe even the 180 i know nothing about any of them.

What'cha wanna know? how slow the engines really are but how these stupid 240 kids put a slow sr20 into their engine bay and think they have god in that shiznit?

Tech support for swaps.

Lets say I pick up the 240 I'm looking at, and I decide I want a better engine than a KA24E (kind of dates the car I'm looking at huh?). Now I know what will and won't fit. Some people don't, however, and it would be nice for them to have a place to look at what would be involved in, say, an RB25 swap. At the very least have a place for someone to tell them that a VG30DE is not worth the trouble.

KA24DE is a superior engine. Just work fromthe ground up and make the internals stronger. Then slap a turbo kit on it and bam, 350 hp easy and woop a lot of ass.

To an RB, never.

Besides the car I'm looking at is a KA24E. Kind of torquey, definitely a step up from the CA20 in my old 200SX, but certainly not a contender. If I'm going to spend the money, I want to buy something buildable (read: "inline six").

the ka24de and the sr20de are pretty comparable...

i don't think the ka is superior to the sr.

the sr actually has higher record hp levels, but most people don't go that far with their builds.

SR only has higher number from doing reviews cause its the popular swap ya know? Just do a little work on the head/internals of the KA and you've go tyourself a fawkin torque beast. KA-T seems to be popular here in Florida. But again, everybody wants the SR20 cause its lighter and better for high revs. I would honestly just go to www.gude.com and buy their head unit for like 1500 and install it. Already bored out and stronger internals. slap a turbo onthat shit and bam!
