No, I mean the pump has a pistol-grip. Its almost identical to this one,but he has the collaspable stock and it doesn't have a tactical light.

WTF does 21 have to do with anything? You can buy and own rifles/shotguns at 18 and buy and own pistols at 21. I know when I was 18 I bought a shotgun from K-Mart of all places (Mossberg 12Gauge synthetic stock with interchangeable chokes).

So what is something fun to begin learning how to shoot on but would still come in handy "just in case"?

I'd want a pistol but as I'm 19 I'm limited to shotguns and rifles. Both sound pretty fun for their own reasons.

You are leagle to own it, just not buy it. Have someone of age buy it and give it to you as a gift.

it's leagle.

I think when I was 15 or 16 I bought a Remington 870 20ga. pump with two barrels. Well I gave my dad the money and my name went on the registration. Been a great gun since then I have inherited a few others and bought a muzzle loader, now that is fun...kicks like hell and is only accurate to about 125 yards.

super cheap to shoot, lots of fun, and if you're going to do it, do it right and start small.

Ahh, the good ole' Remington 870 Express. That was my first gun, 20ga pump and I still use it to this day. Never quite found another shotgun that I was as accurate or comfortable with.

Now I don't know what you expect to do with that pistol grip 12ga, beyond join a band of infidels.

I have a nice belt with a couple of double magazine pouches, but I don't really care for the hip holster. My Glock 34 is a bit long to draw and it doesn't fall right at hand when it's up on the hip so I ordered up a tactical holster.

Thats not actually my gun in that pic, I have the hunting version like this, http://firearms.smith-wesson.com/userimages/170231_large.jpg
i just posted that pic so you could see the size differential to the 44 mag!!! This one has a 10/5 inch barrel plus a compensator. friggin expensive.. but the grin on your face that doesn't come off for an hour or so is well worth it!!!

They ACTUALLY make a 4" barrel concealment version of the .500 mag.. but i hear its like holding an M80 in your hand!!!!!! http://firearms.smith-wesson.com/content/00/01/32/32/75/userimages/163504_item.jpg
pic makes it look small, but remember, its the same size as the one in the other pic, just with a shorter barrel!!!!

Actually, Before I put the scope on my gun, I could conceal it in a shoulder holster fairly easily with a jacket on (I'm a cromagnon anyway!!)

I have to get some pics of me shooting that friggin thing..

Again, damn. That's a hell of a hand cannon. I think a Glock 20 firing 10mm Express would do just fine for me. I think there was a longer hunting barrel for the G20 as well.
