If you Google yourself, how much of what you find is you? I found if I Google "Tofuball" I find all kinds of crazy stuff, some of it is me, such as the "Origin of Tofuball;"

What interesting stuff do you find when you Google yourself? What kind of footprint have you left on the internet?

My footprint is very distinct, since my original username is my name backwards.

So unfortunately, everything I find, directly correlates to me.

Not much shows up on any of my user names (except a few of the eclectic ones on smaller forums).

Depends on what you search for... My name (first and last) returns a LinkedIn hit, a few snowest hits, a few U of Wyo hits, and a few fecesbook pages...

Searching my call sign returns a few QRZ pages, my snowest profile, and a few posts on various forums. Those posts are radio or communications related.

Searching "Animal" yields millions of hits, very few of which have anything to do with me :)

I have two identities online... I try to keep them separate, mask off important things like my address and phone number from my IRC identity... but it's really not hard to find 'em. I stopped trying to be somebody online I wasn't years ago.

What's really scary is when someone in real life recognizes you from some internet forum/IRC channel/etc. One of my UW hats has "Animal" on the side, and more than once someone's approached me an asked "Do you use such-and-such IRC channel?" or "Are you Animal on (insert forum name here)?"
