Why does this piece of shit constantly cut my connection? Right in the middle of posting this, Safari shut down and it went to the main menu. Is this normal or do I need to adjust some fuckin setting? It's quite annoying...

There's quite a few posts on that behavior:

http://www.google.com/search?q=iphone+shuts+down+safari&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a

Best advice I've seen so far (outside of installing an update) is this:
I had some issues with my browser crashing repeatedly, so I turned the phone off, turned it back on, and the performance has been MUCH better.

Just in case you aren't sure of how to do it: Hold down the sleep/wake button on top until it prompts you to slide the button on the screen to shut down. Give it a few seconds, then push the sleep/wake button again to turn the iPhone back on.

I've read other posts around here from people who have had similar problems, and it seems like the majority have found relief by doing a restart.

A reset/reboot is:

Go to Home Screen
Press and Hold Home Button
Keep holding and press and hold Lock Button
Keep holding Both
You will see Slide to Turn Off (Don't let go to slide, just keep holding)
The phone will turn off (in time, but screen will look like it has some white lines)
Keep Holding
When you see the Apple Logo, you can let go.

Turning off via the Slide to Turn off while good and fine to turn off, is more like the Sleep Mode on a computer. Thus any locked up issues in memory remain when you turn back on. A reboot as described is like doing a real Turn off and Turn On on a computer.

It is, in many ways, a small computer. Might wanna try turning the thing off if you constantly leave it on.

I just called iPhone support and they told me to "reset network settings". So far, so good...
