What are you talking about? Have you recently tried to sit through an episode of Thundercats? I think you have to go a bit farther back to get toons that don't suck ;P

I have a pretty good cable package and I can't even watch Looney Toons or Merry Melodies, I'll I get to see are Tom and Jerry, and I hate Tom and Jerry.

Target had a sale on crappy DVDs at one point. I picked up one chock full of all the early Felix the Cat episodes for $1. It was complete with all the racist and sexist depictions of the silent movie era. A real piece of history :P

Not a big fan of Felix, but I'm taking a film class right now, and am starting to like all that old silent stuff.

They used to have a Felix the Cat with sound and voices on Saturday cartoons.

"On June 5, 2007, it was announced that Warner Brothers have optioned the rights to make a CGI animated feature film based on the ThunderCats animated series. It will be an original story expanding on the events of the series pilot, "Exodus." The script has been written by Paul Sopocy and will be produced by Paula Weinstein. It was announced on October 9, 2007, that video game veteran Jerry O'Flaherty will direct ThunderCats. O'Flaherty served as an art director on such best-selling video games as Gears of War, Unreal Tournament III, and the Command & Conquer series, and ThunderCats marks his first film directing role. He has promised to keep the movie true to its roots and that he is listening to fan comments.

Following the success of the Transformers film, Warner Brothers announced that ThunderCats is planned for a summer 2010 release."
