launching can be hard, even with AWD
most cars you fight spin, with AWD you fight bog.....
either way youre still fighting to launch well......

It might not take much skill to &quot;street race&quot;, but drag racing is not the same. &nbsp;Id say reaction time and consistency are pretty difficult even in a slow car. &nbsp;I've never ran Pro Tree, but Im sure its pretty difficult to cut a .400 light.

You were forced to get a non turbo car because you blew up the FD so much. &nbsp;Now all you do is talk junk about anything, but curves since your car is slow(no offense). &nbsp;We all know that in the past your with your FD curves were nothing( and all you you do was street raced A LOT). &nbsp;Hell you even set up club races...ie this club vs another. (HTM vs k-otic) HTM went on like 1 mtn cruise a year lol. &nbsp;Now that all you can do are curves you talk junk about the straights. &nbsp;When you had the FD, you would always brag about killing stangs and how much you hate them. this is the way i see it...even if i had 400 hp@ the wheels....i still love the feeling of being thrown sideways while trying to hold on to the wheel. &nbsp;taking 35 mph curves at 70-75 or even higher. &nbsp;That's one of the reasons we need a circuit track around here :-d &nbsp;That's my rush...if your rush is being thrown back and not turning the wheel....so be it. &nbsp;that just doesn't do it for me. &nbsp;

I know a fair amount more about RX7s now and that car was not as fast as some people would have you believe. &nbsp;My car is lighter, and only 75 hp less stock due to turbos and flow of the IM. &nbsp;Ive already brought my UIM and LIM to FD standard through porting and all the mods in my profile on AIM. &nbsp;I'll have a street ported JSPEC with 720cc injectors boosting 12 psi on a JDM turbo in a few weeks and I doubt I will beat a viper. &nbsp;I doubt I will beat a viper even when I get around to putting a T04 and an FMIC I already have on. &nbsp;My point is, just b/c its an RX7 it doesnt mean its faster than anything on the road...it just means it breaks more.

My rx7 is slow so Im putting about $1000 in it this month to make it a little faster and handle better I suppose. &nbsp;One of the supras I raced at nopi took me pretty good the second time we raced so I still have a ways to go even if its just a daily driver. &nbsp;as for the mx7...just need to pick up some mounts this weekend.

Nah the belts come off too much and they take up a lot of room but they do work good with the PI heads. &nbsp;Im thinking something that makes more boost without belts.
