RDurbin 12-10-2003, 08:36 PM Can anyone explain to me what the Jake Brake Ordinance is? 91lx 12-10-2003, 10:11 PM means you cant operate your jake brake (exhaust powered braking assist) within the City limits. you can clearly hear it being used makes that brrrrrrrrr sound. theyre pretty loud u know when an 18-wheeler slows down quickly. the pulsating is really loud. u can hear them from I-85 outside Robs house.
