Found this in the news paper. Is that a jet engine or some type or race car engine ??? Someone has to call about this one.

thats pretty cheap for a FD... especially if it has an "F-1" engine maybe a 3 rotor 13g? i highly doubt it tho

see! i knew it... its in one of my fathers british car magazines along w/ talks about the FC being started and the ending of the FB... my father is a jaguar nut...

i guess it got turned into the 20b tho since it seems the 13g was mostly a prototype...

the guy with the FD might mean it has a Formula 1 engine in it. either way, 13k is still cheap.

unless like osborne said its about to BLOW! then its worth more like 6-8k ive seen alot w/o engines go on the v8 conversion site i post on go for 4000-6000 w/ blown or no engine... they dont usually last long everyone post if they see one for sale to grab...

i dont see how u guys say insurance will break you!? every car i have gotten has been the same price... 95 talon, 69 jaguar, 68 camaro, 86 fc, 95 Z28, 92 caprice... all the same the insurance lady told me it'd be the same if i drove a ferrari.... btw i dont get full coverage... except on the 68 camaro and 69 both grundy tho... extremly cheap

and not everybody has a good driving record either. who do u have insurance with? in my experience, it's always been more expensive to insure a sports car than a 4 door sedan. i had a friend that was going to give me an '83 gsl and the lady at statefarm said mine would double. i have a 6pt speeding ticket on my record + my 16 yr old is rated on my vehicle. since insurance on it has been cancelled since being totaled, i'm waiting to see how much it goes up on the '96 corsica since he'll be rated on it now. besides, if u got into a really bad accident and it was ur fault and the other was hurt bad, minimum coverage wouldn't even cover the hospital bill.

i dont have min. coverage... i said i dont have full coverage... i have enough for 3/150,000 for cars, and i think 3/200,000 for people... far from minimum but no collision which is the key ingredient for the variable in ur insurance... its pointless for me to get it because they wont give me near what i have into any of my cars... w/ the exception of grundy as those 2 cars were inspected and priced out because they are 25+ years and collector/classic... w/o the collision my insurance is 2600$ a year... i wouldnt call that cheap. i dont even have a near steady job and i pay for it but then again i dont pay utilities or rent... nor a car payment. my driving record isnt perfect either :( but it will be later this year as it will be 3 years since i have gotten in an accident and any tickets... knock on wood :)

i cant wait till im older being 18 sucks w/ insurance... especially in beaufort county... shits so expensive

but for now i have to live with it and i dont have rent/utilities so i guess it evens out

a few families i know have families in Tenn and use tags from that state. must save $$$ that way otherwise im not sure why they would do it.

haha, i have full coverage on the bimmer, and my insurance is 3250 every 6, which is 541.67 a month, cause of the wreck. i'm owned by the insurance company and my age lol.

yeah i think statefarm is really screwing us over. i want to change companys but i want to wait til my record's clean.

ur lucky w/ 6 points like that... usually state farm will bump ur ass off... thats what they did 2 me w/ one 2 point accident that was under 3000$.... they suck

even before that it seemed like almost every time it came due they were going up but when we'd ask why, no one knew anything.

ive had at least 6pts on SF for about 3 yrs now... better B quiet so they dont hear that. 50'ish on civic varies and 30 on supercharged mustang.

in SC ur points go down every year... by 2.. from what ive experienced... u must get alot of tickets lol

nope... you lose 1/2 your points per violation on the 1 year mark. thats why they are 2 pts, 4pts and 6pts. any ticket takes 2 yrs to come off... unless you do defensive driving or it gets dropped or reduced to 0 points. its all in the hand book :)

on 7/11 i will be back to 4 :rolleyes:

man, state farm SUCKS... they are EXPENSIVE and they dropped me like 2 years after my last ticket. Then I changed with my updated BAD record and no safe driver discount and ended up saving money with allstate
