Gonna start working out every morning before work... 5:30 a.m. Seems like the only time I can do it, while the kids are still sleeping. No time otherwise, and I can't sleep well if I work out at night.

If I did that, I wouldn't be able to sleep. I have trouble sleeping the nights I play basketball from 7 to 9 p.m. I just get too hyped up.

I started runnning for 20min 4-5 days a week and I'm already seeing results. I'm 6' 200lbs, but want to go to around 185lbs lean muscle.

Yeah, a bit. I've added two protein shakes a day, cut out all soda and increased water intake, and have cut down on fat. I'm at 6'3", 180, want to get up to 205 or so.

Hit squats and deads today for my first day back in the gym. Hadn't done much squatting with my knee and all, so I'm already pretty damn sore. Getting up tomorrow at 5:15 to hit the gym... Back day.

don't overtrain when you first start back up, you'll burn yourself out

squats will have your legs sore for days, they are good for strengthening your knees though....I personally believe far less people would require knee surgery if they got off their ass and did squats on a regular basis, even though they are very hard work

Well, if I hadn't fallen on my knee and ripped every ligament except my ACL, I'd agree with you.

:)

This morning was back. Tomorrow is shoulders/upper chest. I'm only doing core. No bicep curls or shit like that.

good luck man! Squats like a few said above are one of the most effective and important exercises you can do at the gym. Also do the full squats, as far down as you can go. Half squats are either for those who are injured or ghey
