Companies encouraging retail employees to say "happy holidays" instead of "merry christmas".

People bitching about christmas decorations in government and "public" areas.

The last company I worked for was so politically correct that one department put up a nativity scene and someone complained about it, so they made the entire WORLDWIDE company take down anything religious related. Someone else complained about a haunted house set up for a charity, saying that they believed halloween was a holiday that worshipped Satan, so again, the entire company had to remove ANY halloween displays...

Couldn't agree with you more. I don't know what kind of corporate climate you work in Zero, but where I'm at, they take the shit so seriously that any hint of impropriety can get you fired. The pendulum has swung from one extreme of "anything goes" all the way to the other extreme of the slightest whiff of somebody getting their panties in a twist and you're fucked.

And they ALWAYS side with the person being "wronged". Let's say you fuck a chick you work with. She came three times, you bought dinner, you did everything right, but then decided she was a boring dipshit. She gets pissed, makes up some story that you said a dirty joke, she was offended, and you're fired. It's bullshit.

Read your quote and something like that happened to me with the same results. Did you try to argue it with your company or did you just let it go? I went with this chick who worked for me and the company made me think i was the wrong one. What happened to the girl did she get any discipline or did they just believe what they said. It is bullshit i cant believe this happens so often.
