That's bullshit. I dont believe that for a second.

Its been debated to no end on many different gun forums. Most saying its fake. Have seen sides of barrels blown off IRL though...

Well I would have to say I think it's real. A bore sight goes in the barrel about three inches. If you look at the picture there has been a ballooning at about the three-inch mark. This barrel looks to have had a blockage at a place consistent with a bore sight. If the blockage had been back maybe two or three more inches just the side of the barrel would have split out. But this was close enough to the end to umbrella it. Someone jamming his or her barrel in the dirt usually causes this type of damage. If you think something might be wrong open the bolt and look down the barrel. Or the most dangerous is a bullet that gets lodged and stays in the barrel. If a shot sounds funny check it.

I had a bolt that didn't lock on time. When the round went off there was so much pressure it blew out the bottom of the magazine and it me in the chest. It was pretty funny. Shit blew in my face and it was so loud I didn't know what happened. All I knew was my chest hurt like hell. I couldn't look. I reached down and felt around for blood and held my had up to check it. But aside from a bunch of little cuts I was fine.
