AteTuna 04-26-2008, 03:58 PM I'll cook a bunch of hamburger patties on Sunday, and reheat them throughout the week. Usually I just throw some ketchup on it and call it a day, but sometimes I'll throw it on some bread with fixins, but that's pretty rare. I make up for my deficiencies with vitamins and balanced protein shakes. What do you do? Ark2 04-26-2008, 04:02 PM I kill people but never properly dispose of the bodies. AteTuna 04-26-2008, 04:06 PM In your case, you should watch Blood Car.....good for your habit, and in light of current fuel rates, good for your wallet. Ark2 04-26-2008, 04:09 PM lol Fendamonky 04-26-2008, 04:28 PM I do something similar, except that it's typically steaks (which I begin to marinate 2 days before cooking) and chicken breasts. Of course, I only work 4 days a week, for 13 hours a day, so I don't have time to cook when I'm working. Grill everything off the day before my shifts begin, than each morning (or evening, depending on if I work days or nights) before I drive in to work I make up a salad, slice up the grilled meat for the salad and Wa-la! Just add Yogurt, coffee and maybe some left over take out and I'm in business!! Fiona 04-26-2008, 04:53 PM Yup, me too. I cook big pots of spaghetti, lasagna, stew,,, whatever and do the heat-and-eat all week!! I leave my house at 5:00am and am lucky to be home by 7 or 8:00pm. Who the hell has time to cook?? Especially if we're working Saturdays!!! Alex-7 04-26-2008, 05:26 PM I proabably order pizza an average of four times a week. The rest of the time I eat out. I can't remember the last time I actually cooked anything. Fendamonky 04-26-2008, 05:29 PM It's much cheaper in the long run (just buy a fuck ton of Dijorno's), and better for you. Alex-7 04-26-2008, 05:30 PM Those are pretty good. Fendamonky 04-26-2008, 05:36 PM Rumor has it. I'm pretty plain with my foods though.. I don't stock up on food, I buy it and cook it within days. I *do* have this AWESOME noodle bar about 1/4 block from my house though, I go in there whenever I don't feel like cooking on my days off. The serving girls are cute too ^_^ rtryb2200 04-26-2008, 07:36 PM I buy soup, tuna, raw vegetables and fruit....I have been on sort of a health kick lately. There is always Venison and Chicken in the freezer and now that it is warmer I grill that a lot more often. puntorotary 04-26-2008, 09:11 PM my roommates are usually gaming as soon as they get into the house so we usually order out being that im only home 3 days out of the week and the rest at work. But when i am home i usually cook up some rice and chicken or chops..something along those line. Oh and i dont seperate my clothes anymore before washing..whites colors towels who cares..they all go in the wash together...somedays i take the time out if need be. Alex-7 04-26-2008, 10:12 PM word. I've never separated laundry. Ark2 04-26-2008, 10:30 PM word. I've never separated laundry. yeah, but when you wash everything in a creek, that probably isn't too big an issue. Alex-7 04-26-2008, 10:31 PM Lol! Queen 04-26-2008, 10:58 PM http://www.kazoos.com/store/graphics/00000001/washboard.jpg wotnartd 04-26-2008, 11:00 PM grilled chicken breasts Fendamonky 04-27-2008, 12:58 AM I hate the washing machines and dryers here in England.. I shrunk my really nice Armani sweater the first time I ever washed it here... Had me fucking PISSED!! That bitch was expensive and very comfy =( I've gotta seperate my laundry.. I can only fit about 3-4 days worth of clothes (reusing the jeans) into the washing machine at any one time. rtryb2200 04-27-2008, 02:38 AM ^ Metrosexual? Alex-7 04-27-2008, 03:16 AM living in england can make any good ol Yankee seem a bit of a poofter. Don't turn your back on your country. Want me to send you a few cans of skoal and a pair of Levi's? Fendamonky 04-27-2008, 03:32 PM LOL!! Nah, not too metro, just was a really nice sweater for a chilly (but not freezing) day. Thanks, I'll pass on the Skoal (quit smoking and everything when I moved out here) and I'm thinking that the Levi's just wouldn't work for me.. too fucking tight in the legs, makes me feel like I'm pretending to be a cowboy. vrooom305 04-28-2008, 08:53 PM I'll cook a bunch of hamburger patties on Sunday, and reheat them throughout the week. Usually I just throw some ketchup on it and call it a day, but sometimes I'll throw it on some bread with fixins, but that's pretty rare. I make up for my deficiencies with vitamins and balanced protein shakes. What do you do? pretty much the samething here. I just bbw short ribs though and eat it with rice. Yay for protein shakes and multivitamins! cool_as_crap 04-28-2008, 10:10 PM Frozen burritos, tamales, t.v. dinners, etc. I can't stand re-heating shit like that, when I cook, just small portions. No reason not to separate ground beef into smaller portions and thaw them when necessary. rx-7_Z06 04-29-2008, 01:55 AM I grill up chicken breasts and usually just leave them cold for salads and sandwiches. I pick up deli meat and tuna packets. Only things I cook are eggs. Other than that I don't have time except on the weekends. |
