Well ive been busy, but i think im back here for good and there are some people on here that i really dont know anything about so i figured id start a thread to get some general info abuot people, and since no one else posts, why not.

oooooooh yea. That also could be done with the motor in my Prelude, b20a5, but it's far from worth it.

He's refering to the H23 because I clearly state Frankenstein motor, which automatically, for the most part, implies a head swap. :) It's a form of a mini me I suppose. It wasn't turned from non vtec into vtec. It was already vtec, I just had a custom manufactured head. I basically mixed the best of both the HX and EX heads, with an output that gets nearer to a DOHC motor than any other Single cam I have seen. It has the EX's ability to handle extreme cam grinds, and the HX's roller-rockers for an even more extreme profile. Along with valve work, a rather large increase in compression, a custom cam grind, and new pistons, it was a VERY nice increase it performance. The only problem now is that I am wanting to go the turbo route, which means I am going to have to reverse the compression increase. I have a Stock K20 full bottom end with a blown head. I am waiting to get a custom head setup for that one too, but thinking about saving the turbo set up for it. Making it fit is a little bit of a pain in the ass, but oh well.

no, it was never a GTUs. it was a '91 Coupe with a TII motor and GTUs rear end. so it was essentially a GTUs with a TII swap. it was totalled back in Nov. though so its now gone, but not forgotten.

BTW, i think i need to update my sig a little. lol :dunno:
